Trinidad is located on California's North coast, about 275 miles north of San Francisco, 100 miles south of the Oregon border and 150 miles west of Redding. Most of our visitors choose to travel to the Redwood Coast by car to enjoy the spectacular scenery all around us.
- Driving time from the San Francisco Bay Area is five hours through the wine country and mountains of Sonoma and Mendocino counties.
- Drive time from Portland is seven hours, and three hours from Redding.
- The Eureka/Arcata Airport (ACV) is served by United Express with daily flights from San Francisco and Sacramento. The airport is located in McKinleyville, 15 miles north of Eureka.
